The DuraFon PRO-HC is a long range handset that is a durable and ruggedized for use in various environments including warehouses, farms, ranches, resorts properties, and the oil and gas industry. The handset offers broadcast and intercom features, which enables simultaneous alerts to all handsets associated within the system.

Features:

• Intercom Mode - Independent of the base unit, group chatter is undetectable and the device includes and push to talk capabilities, keeping conversations private.
• Rugged Housing with Durable Design - Features a tested, rugged housing specifically designed for work in industrial environments. Finely constructed and drop tested for durability in a variety of environments.
• Broadcasting - Sends direct announcements to all handsets, or a group of handsets for emergencies and company wide messages.
• Line Broadcast - capable of broadcasting through L3 or L4.
• Battery Hot Swapping - Permits the changing of the battery while the call is on hold.
• Add 3 Years of Coverage for DuraFon Equipment - The Service Plus 3-Year Extended Warranty plan covers new, serialized DuraFon equipment failure due to factory defects in parts and/or workmanship. The first year is cover by EnGenius and years two and three are covered by CPS.
• Broadcast/Intercom Features - Simultaneously alerts all handsets with messages for bulletins or emergencies.
• Digital Spread Spectrum (DSS) Technology - Added for extra privacy and clarity.
• 2 Handset Antennas Included - A shorter antenna adds convenience while the longer antenna allows for a greater maximum range.
